Hunger Games - Catching Fire; I was forced by my youngest to take her to see this and I was struck by the similarity to the first one - it's basically a re-hash, with some added jeopardy in the latter section involving the game itself.
6/10, with an acknowledgement that I am far from the target demographic.

The last one is different at least, the books are actually pretty good
Frank Zappa wrote:Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

The Rise 8/10. Gangster/revenge film. Might be slightly biased because it was filmed around Leeds, but I really enjoyed it.
Soylent Green 6/10. Might have been slightly damaged because I only got to know about the film because it was used as a password by Frank Black in Millennium, and the password kind of gave the story away. It was funny to see a 1970's vision of 2022, which actually looked exactly like the 1970's. Although I kind of liked the like the interiors, which for the most part I never have in films of the 70's. Pretty weak plot. Really unsure about Charlton Heston's acting.
The Godfather 8/10. I've seen Scarface a couple of times and always thought it was an over rated film. I kind of guess I'd put The Godfather down in that category but having watched it I actually think I must have missed the film. Good film, much better than Scarface.
Marlon Brando though, I like his acting even less than I like Charlton Heston's. Just don't get it at all.
I'm looking for a recent action film, that is supposed to have the most action of any action film ever - think it begins with R, but don't quite me - any help please?

Indeed - its The Raid; an Indonesian film that stole the thunder from Dredd, having virtually the same plot but being made for a fraction of the money; it's great fun!
