I think the easiest way to completely destroy this point would be for you to list the damage that Bliar & Brown did then, for each one of the NuLaour arse-ups, we'll all contribute several items how the Thatcher government damaged Britain.

Thatcher as a politician you may not agree with, but FFS she was voted into power and she did a lot less damage to this country than the previous Labour governments and I don't see the lines of people on here counting down the days till the deaths of Blair and Brown.
Don't be thick. Who do you think laid the foundations for our unbalanced economy? Who was it who was more than happy to see our industry go down the toilet?
You keep spouting 'It's all the fault of labour' even though you have been shown over and over again that it is BS.

You miss the point. She could have stopped it, oh the shame that she didn't.

Mildly amused at the hordes of greying Brits spewing rabid schadenfreude all over the internet.
Love her or hate her she was a formidable woman and PM and I doubt anyone else could have done a better job in those times, certainly none of the muppets we've had since. The country was in a p*ss-poor state domestically and globally and declining fast, and whether you agree with them or not she made a lot of hard decisions that needed making. I understand why great swathes of the population despise her (leaving aside it being the trendy thing to do) but she also had many moments as a great PM.
she did take over a country in a poor state, she did do things which made great swathes despise her, she did make a lot of hard decisions that needed making, You could probably say the same about Kim il-Sung aswell.
Terrible person, did terrible things, horrible, selfish, greedy idealogue. But it is sad when anyone dies.
