Lee Briers the most blatant knock on I've ever seen the referee/touch judges decision play on !!!!! After the disallowed try for Leeds for a 'knock on' where does our sport get its credibility back.
This decision totally changed the games momentum today I'm ashamed to be a rugby league supporter !!!!
Silverwood has killed Leeds who runs the game the referee or Warrington, looks to me like Warrington what a totally sad day....
Time Cummins was sacked and refereeing standards changed dramatically !!!
Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS
These things tend to go in favour of the better team and they would have won regardless of the outcomes of both decisions. The officials in SL are just horrific though, they need to get rid of them all.

This game hinged on two decisions. The first was a possible Leeds try following the KL hit on Hodgson which was scrutinised for about half an hour (a try imo as even if the ball came off KL after Hodgson's initial knock on he was effecting the tackle, not playing at the ball), the second was the Briers knock on that was simply ignored.

The officials are wrecking the game, I am fed up of attending games and coming away (win or lose) and talking more about the officials performance rather than the game itself.
I will defend the referee's a little though by saying that the linesmen offer little support, they are usually either about 16 and on work experience, or 65 and struggling to keep up with play!
I would like to see us adopt the Aussie 2 Ref system, with the 2nd ref being a younger 'junior' ref that just monitors the ruck/play of the ball. This would hopefully mean less messing about at the play of the ball, and also gives an opportunity for a young or lower league ref to gain SL experience.

They don't need to change the system, they just need to identify higher calibre people, train them better and have them have to be responsible for their performances. At the moment the jokers on the field officiating are just there because they have put their hand up for it, the touch judges particularly and the video refs are always looking for ways they can give the opposite decision to the obvious one.
