As you can tell from my post count I dont normally post I just lurk in the shadows; the reason for my post today is about an idiot Rovers 'fan' who has embarrassed your club and ruined my nephews first (and possible last as he is more a football fan) derby match.
I watched today's match in the west lower stand with my wife and my nephew. We sat there as it is a good mix of fans from both clubs. I support FC with my wife and nephew supporting KR. At the end of the match as Jordan Turner scored the final try an idiot Rovers "fan" in the Upper West part of the stadium threw a nearly full Powerade drinks bottle down into the seating below. I use the word fan very loosely as I know no real fan of your club would do something like this and I know unfortunately people like this are attached to all sporting clubs.
The bottle hit me in the side of my head, nearly knocking my glasses off and covering an old lady in front of me in Powerade. It also splashed a number of other people around me including my wife. I was lucky as it did no real damage to my face, however if it had been a bit higher up it would have hit my eye region possible doing serious damage or breaking my glasses. I'm just thankful that it wasn't a glass bottle.
As you can imagine my nephew lasting memory of his first derby is of some idiot throwing a bottle. People like this should be banned from matches; at the very least named and shamed.
I have informed both clubs about the incident, however it is unlikely that either can do anything about idiots like this.

Thats the reason they dont allow glass bottles in stadiums so nothing to worry about there. You should be pleased, just say to your nephew 'That dirty Rovers fan threw a bottle at us' and you can be safe in the knowledge he will never switch allegiances. Every cloud and all that.
'Its like the jungle out there, only the strong survive and the weak get killed off and that's whats happened in Hull. They'll run to the end of the season then that's it, they'll be gone, there will be no more Hull Kingston Rovers there's no room for them.'
