There hasn't been a decent Wrestling game since the old Smackdown games appeared on the ps2 around 10-11 years ago. Only so far you can take those type of games!

They are for kids. My kids love the game. I quite like WWE Allstars, that is superbly entertaining to play, if a little shallow.

Have all of the PlayStation 2 games and also the PSOne games such as WWF Attitude, Smackdown, WarZone etc and each and every one was better than WM '12. It was simply an awful, awful game. I've never come across a game where you can beat someone to within an inch of their virtual life, then press a button and a cut scene appears in which you get your butt handed to you on a plate, whilst thinking why was all that previous effort necessary.

I don't mind that. WWE 11 was so easy you couldn't lose, it was just a case of demolishing a virtual crash test dummy. At least with this they have made an effort to bring some element of story telling into it.

I played the Allstars demo and thought it was ok to have a few games on that way but I wouldn't buy the full game.
Thing is the first Smackdown games had the genre covered in every way including storylines, every match type you can think of (Tables, Ladders and Chairs matches Multiplayer with mates was epic) and the whole roster was included too. Only things that can be improved these days for Wrestling games is an updated roster and the graphics!

Smackdown 2 on the PS2 was the best wrestling game of all time. Warzone had some really cool unlockable content which seemed exciting at the time and Attitude played a lot better. Wresting games are unplayable these days for me, they are just weird.

I remeber Warzone came out just as Wrestling was becoming "big" again but the roster was already out of date but it was a really good game. Attitude was a great game and they really improved it but it was too fiddly having to press stuff like left, left, down, square, square, triangle just to do a wrestling move! When THQ bought the rights (which I think they've had since, not sure) they made the Smackdown games some of the best around. Not bought a Wrestling game since the one with Brock Lesnar on the front. Think it was around 6-7 years ago that!

Very very underwhelmed by the ending of Mass Effect 3. Looks like your Paragon/Renegade route means absolutely nothing, along with the choices you make during the game.

There is a good element of story telling, the only thing is you are limited to 3 wrestlers per storyline. Why couldn't they make it like the previous games where you can pick a wrestler and have a full storyline?
