Me and the other half both have the same phone, on the same network, however hers seems to very regularly get a better signal on WiFi and network (to the stage I have none). I haven't dropped or damaged my phone in anyway, just wondered what my best course of action would be

Pinch hers and swap the sims over.

Its because yours is running loads of updates in the background, and hers isn't. Close all applications and tasks (there's an app for that), then compare the 2 phones.
