When thinking about Rovers at the moment I seem to be mostly/only looking forward to next year. The air seems to have gone out of this year a bit early.
I don't think I'm alone in feeling this way. But why?
Do all the departures make it feel like this squad's era is already over?
Are we subconsciously preparing for/accepting our failure to make the 8 or to make an impact if we do?
Is 'just' making the 8 no longer good enough? Surely not?
Or are the play-offs just not that big a prize?

This full season has been a big let down and I really do think the players are getting ready for they're hols now and looking to next season, obviously that depends on what coach and other players that are going to be leaving, can't remember is murrell is with us another season if so his priority is to get fit and it's gone quiet about Clinton to there isn't much noise v
Coming from the club at present, I have a good feeling about next season as for this season to me it's dead and buried and has been from the very start.
