Hopefully its a sign that our pre season training has been aimed at endurance over the course of the season rather than sharpness at the start.
City looked very sharp in their other pre season games.

Definitely not. No matter how crud N'Gog or Soto are, I wouldn't boo them. A few Everton fans I know however think Hibbert is absolutely garbage. 1 other thinks he is a legend. I assumed that if there were boo's, that would be the reason why.
However, since there were no boo's, then it seems like he is still held in high regard by the Everton fans, which begs the question "why do some people think he is garbage?".

But it's not just half a match he's played though is it? Is it not also counting the fact that Gerrard + Wilshere are out.
I agree btw, I don't know if he is ready yet, but it's not just going to be on the basis of 45 minutes for Utd, more likely the entire season for Wigan.
I'm just glad he's put that shambles at the U21 Championship behind him. Pearce had a very talented central midfielder and played him on the right - the idiot. That man has the tactical nouse of a cockroach.
In the middle Cleverley is a handy little player. I like the way he runs at players and is willing to get ahead of the forwards. Still not the finished article, but hopefully he'll get some chances this year.
I think there are better options for him for this friendly. If anyone thinks that a good 45 minutes wasn't the telling reason why he is included in the squad is deluded. He was nowhere near a call up last year after doing well at Wigan, and he did not play well at all after being played out of position in the summer. Capello doesn't give a sh*t anymore.

Clichy hung Kompany out to dry - his indecisiveness left Kompany in the proverbial
