Maybe they aren't happy with £200,000 a week and are indulging in a little betting as well?

very little work-rate between them, they needed tevez to carry which ever one he played with and do all the donkey work. bit like rooney did for berbatov.

Apart from watching an apparently unfit Villarreal team run rings round Everton, the only thing of note was Everton's own fans quite clearly booing their own right-back (or number 2 anyway, Hibbert?) Why was that?
You couldn't have got that more wrong, no one was booing him they were shouting 'Shoot!' There's a long running thing with Hibbert that he's never scored and is probably never likely too but it was a bit of fun.

Would you just boo players because you think they're poor? That would really help them out, I'm sure.

Phil Jones, Tom Cleverly and Ashley Young all proved they were world class yesterday.
Just for Enfield Exile that one
Was a decent performance especially in the 2nd half once we decided not to let their hacking get to us. Still not convinced by that midfield even though Cleverly did well when he came on, I don't think he'll be able to perform like that all season.
The likes of Darron Gibson, Shane Duffy, Marc Wilson and Daniel Kearns are among those to have taken advantage of a Fifa ruling that allows players from the island of Ireland to choose which national side they represent providing they have not played for the other in a competitive senior international. Worthington hopes to add Alex Bruce - twice capped by the Republic in friendlies - to the Northern Ireland ranks.
Another ridiculous FIFA rule. Two different FAs, two different countries.

I thought City looked sluggish from the start, couldnt believe we were two up at ht. It was noticable that even our usually most energetic players were well off the pace. Hopefully its a sign that our pre season training has been aimed at endurance over the course of the season rather than sharpness at the start.

I'd be astounded if any football team, especially one as well resourced as city, would do anything else.
Gary Neville didn't hold back on Ballotelli, did he?!
Me: I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
knockersbumpMKII: Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm
