Fair play to Anderson, he's a good player and played great darts in the final, but Lewis had a relapse after his brilliance against Taylor. Never turned up.

I suppose thats how it goes the break inbetween the semi and final really affected his darts, either that or he couldn't believe what he did to Taylor and thought he already had it in the bag!

Why is everyone saying 'oh Lewis bottled it', 'Lewis wasn't on it'? Did you not see the final? Anderson absolutely blitzed him! Don't take anything away from Gary, he was superb.

It was a combination in reality, Anderson was brilliant from the off and Lewis couldn't get started. By the time Lewis found some form and woke up, he had left himself an impossible task. Had Lewis started off where he left off with Taylor, it would have been a close match. And, may I add, more interesting.

I missed the first couple of legs but the form Anderson was in , No one would have troubled him . I agree about Lewis though , It would have been an interesting last couple of legs had he been nearer to Anderson as the scot's finishing isn't great.

I don't subscribe to this theory that it takes so much to beat Taylor you lose your next game, plus it takes the shine of the player who wins that match. It had nothing to do with Lewis beating Taylor but Anderson turned up and Lewis didn't in the early stages.

True,Anderson was off to a blistering start.Would have rocked any player.Disappointed the way the match went.Expected a ding dong encounter.

To be fair Anderson`s start put Lewis under pressure from the off.
