With regards to Castleford I like the fact that not many are tipping them to get booted. I'd like to think that it's because they're currently undefeated this year in SL. Can you imagine if it WAS them in the frame - given their current position? I bet the RFL are thanking their lucky stars that Wakey have made a right cock up of everything too because their league positions in recent years has also been quite good.

You can bet your life that the RFL will never put themselves in that position again - guaranteeing a Champ club a place.

Yes but as we all know, league position means nothing in this instance.

Cas and Wakey will drop out of SL. Cas won't have the ground sorted til 2013 at the earliest. The RFL won't allow them in twice with only a "promise" of a new stadium.

I have heard there are plans in place for Cas to play at Donny for a season if needs be while the new stadium is built, though doubt it'd work,
