He's decent. My only hope is he talks to the players and refs it understanding its the first game of season and a derby. So no kneejerk reactions and be sensible.

To be honest with it being away from Hull and in a stadium with about 12000 in it the players are the least of our worries. They will see it as a game not a redhot derby in Hull.

I would have thought a bit of rivalry would have been ingrained in the players.
Especially as us supporters get so wound up about it,I would imagine some of it would transfer to the teams.

they're all sh!te, on there day they can stiff either team, i just hope the game is decided by the players not the ref!!!

All i expect from Bentham is speak to both teams before the game with regards his expectations of them and then go on to ref the game with consistency and common sence.
