I'm sick of the amount of time Hussey has a review wasted on him only to be out later when we have no reviews left

Perhaps the lads, far from home, want to spend more time with a Hussey?

Thank God I'm an atheist.

A bit late to the party this year...

Prince of Denmark wrote:My favourite innings by a nightwatchman came from Robin Marlar for Sussex. He was out stumped second ball for 6.

I can't remember the batsmen involved, but Lancs sent a nightwatchman in a couple of years ago at OT. He was out a few balls later. They then sent in the next 'proper' batsmen in. He was also out a few balls later. It's not often the home support greets their own side losing a wicket with as much laughter as there is groaning.

Back to today. The first few overs didn't look too encouraging, the wickets a little on the slow side, but there's been some decent bowling to get us a good start. Just got to make sure no other partnerships develop now.

And I wish they'd learn to use the review system properly. What happened to eliminating the howler, rather than being a tactical move? The first one in particular was a bit daft.

Ponting suffering yet again. Always good to see. :D

Hussey gone, bowling changes have worked a treat this morning.

Can't let them off the hook like we did in Perth now.

Biggest wicket of the Ashes so far getting Hussey.

We need to drive home this advantage now(weather permitting).

good morning session for us there, great to see Hussey go cheaply, send pig faced Smith back, Haddin is due a fail, and drive Johnson back into his shell

Great position, the one batsmen they have left is Clarke who is not in the best of form, then Smith who looks dodgy at 6, Haddin then Mitchell. Great chance for England with the conditions, 200 or less please, max 250.
