Did anyone else feel Rooney's wave to the crowd whilst getting subbed (and rightly booed) was sarcastic? If so IMO it's yet another reason why the to$$er should not play for England. Along with refusing to sing the national anthem, been dirty, and an extremely poor role model, he's a disgrace to the England shirt IMO.

Coppell - what a tw*t

I'm very surprised at the naivety of some United supporters. Why exactly have their club spent £7m on a player coming from complete obscurity? Who makes these decisions on how much a player should cost? I just read that he'd only just joined his club, and that United had signed him based on his pre-season form. With all due respect, he could turn out to be a good player, but £7m for a player with that CV, who was available on a free only months ago? Some are saying 'well people said the same when we spent a lot on Ronaldo', but Ronaldo was one of the world's hottest talents back then, whilst this fella seems a nobody, with his only background being homeless football and pre-season friendlies, from the sounds of things.
