MADDOG. Dafydd James was Gareth Thomas' centre partner when playing for Bridgend Ravens. He was a regular player in the Welsh side, though he was often frustrated because he was versatile and both club and country played him out of his best position, on the wing. He is a 2 time British Lion, but has been overlooked often in his career because he was a wage chaser.

He is also younger and faster than Gareth Thomas and slightly lighter, but has had far less injuries and is heterosexual so Castleford fans will struggle to insult him.

Trust me, he would be a League success. He has always been a wage chaser and has POSSIBLY overpriced himself in Union, but even Spongy and the Crusaders dwindling band of fans seem to not think highly of him.

Absolute rubbish. He's too old. Gareth Thomas hasn't been a success so far and neither would Dafydd James who is nowhere near as talented.

We can produce stats from years gone by all we want, doesn't mean we're interested in signing Gareth Edwards.
