As this tournament has shown, nothing is for granted so it would be extremely foolish of Brazil to think they just had to turn up to win. Neither Portugal or Brazil will want to finish second in case they end up playing Spain.
They could end up playing Spain if they win. I doubt that they'll completely disregard the match, but they'll probably give a few of the back up players a game.

Wish I had backed the French not to qualify as I predicted, saying that the could come out and thump SA and get through is the other game provides a winner.
Not sure what to think about Wednesday, surely there will be a change of formation, or at least Heskey will be replaced. All the praise they got for qualifying so well will be well and truly forgotten if the don't get though this group.
I really like Fabiano, Utd have been linked with him for the past few season but it has never come to anything.

He's too old to be spending the sort of sums banded about on him

I think Brazil are the hot favourites to win now. I really like the way they play with two holding midfileders, and Maicon and Bastos bombing forward. The two full-backs have impressed me hugely, it'll be interesting to see who replaces Kaka and the possibly injured Elano. I'd imagine that Julio Baptista would be given the free role behind Fabiano and Nilmar will stick the right, where Elano would usually play.
