Can't believe some of the players left out of the France squad, not to mention a few I expected to play tonight. Although they all seem to be at each others throats off the pitch.

Ah well. Had a fiver on Pienaar and a fiver on Henry. Not the best start to my WC gambling.
I thought RSA played rather well once they got over their initial nerves, and in the end were unlucky not to win the match. I hope Mexico stay in the competition for a while because their goalkeeper is pure entertainment value.
France were as poor as I expected, no wonder so many people have said they don't think they'll progress.
Vuvuzela and Bafana Bafana - two cracking terms. I'm glad we're going to hear a lot more of them.

If Al Q'aeda, the Taliban, Iran or North Korea were smart they'd take a pop at tomorrow's game. Might as well hit two enemies with one stone.

I missed the France game but looked on the teamsheet to see Govou. Was he as bad as he usually is?
France have a great pool of players to pick from, pretty much high quality players in every position with a few special players to make the difference. It's disturbing that Domenech has lasted so long, I really can't understand the French FA's reasons to defend having him as coach other than a Zidane-carried world cup final.

Stadium looks half empty. Surely they could of sold off the seats cheap to the locals? Thought we would see sell outs throughout the tournament. Obviously not.

If somebody came up to you and said "do you want any tickets to go and see South Korea vs Greece for £10 (example)" would you say yes? I'm pretty sure I wouldn't, especially with all of those bloody horns

TBF if I can get any tickets at all in 2018, should we win the bid, I will be there. Be it England-Germany or Slovenia-North Korea. Would be brilliant just to take in the atmosphere.
