Pinched this from the Hudds board, for some midweek talking;
A third of the season now gone and we have a number of players who are playing well but from all those on show which players do people think where-
A, our best signing B, most improved from last season C, suprise of the season.
For me it would have to be...
A, Hodgson (soon to be taken over by JC with him coming into form) B, Webster (starting to show how good he can be again) C, Watts - without a shadow of a doubt, cant see anyone thinking he would of turned in on like he has.
so the panel took the same view as your excellent assessment.
A, Clinton B, Watts (looked average in NL1 on loan) Has come back a revelation C, Jason Netherton, he has impressed me massively this year, certainly and unsung star.

I'll go with that. Would also be tempted to include Lovegrove in (c) but he also impressed in the later part of 2009 aswell.
Standing up to the forum bully.
It must be working, he doesn't like me...i'm devastated

A, our best signing - I think Hodgson will prove to be a key signing, the kid is impressing at the moment. B, most improved from last season - Watts has started like he has been a regular in SL for a long time. C, suprise of the season - For me was the switch of Webster from centre to off-half.
I don't see it as a job. It is a passion and love that we all share. Neil Hudgell

Why should Nev be a suprise, he has played this way since he came, Mr 110%.
A) Clinton B) Watts C) Hodgson (heard he was good from some FC mates, but he has surpassed expectations IMO

I`ll second that Barham Red. Was cringing a bit when I saw Clinton against Cas in his first game. But is getter better as the season goes on! As for Watts, really cannot belive his age, he plays like a veteran, and he will genuinly be a top player. I have no doubt about it.
