Right i wish I was being childish, but last night I was so annoyed with how we are playing I could feel my passion burning over and my target was the SLUG, from the minute we signed him I have stated that he is not a coach who can do anything for this club, I yet to be proved wrong, he coaches a 1990's style, he has not moved on from there. In Aus his team spent two seasons with him getting the wooden spoon, even there he was working for SKY, he gets sacked another coach appointed three extra signings and next year they are top. Not easy to see these links, he is coaching any skill some of our players had out of them with his restricted game plan, as I have mentioned earlier, if Myler would have stayed another season he would be leaving us for Leigh and not Warrington. 43 years watching Salford and if he stays any longer I will be taking a break from watching because I will find I will not be able to control my temper at matches.

Its not the coaches fault your club sells its best players, you cant be relegated so the club is probaly saving money this season to invest next season, thats the season that matters.

No, I am not the Slug.
In any event, I understand that some of his critics may not be the best examples of physical fitness or appearance. I have examples of this !!
So,I repeat that it is OK to criticise any coaching shortcomings that you believe to be the case but don't insult his appearance as it is probably no worse than many of his critics.
I'm not going to lower myself into personal insults and sit on my high horse and pretend to know how to fix things (Unlike so many on here) Trying to remain positive, we have not been tonked (yet) compared to a few other SL sides. Crusaders aside, if you are honest with yourselves, expecting results against the likes of Leeds, Bradford, and Hull Kr is living in dreamland. None of these teams battered us.
If we'd have even picked-up just 2 points so far, I don't think that there would be half the rantings floating about. Our performances have been lacklustre on the whole and the question of low morale and lack of focus needs to be addressed. Most of this will come with confidence and that wont come until some points are on the board.
It just seems like McRae is simply not liked by the 'fans' and no matter what the team does he will come in for stick. When we put in good performances last year, and there was some historic results for us, everyone praised the team and individuals but very few said anything positive about the coaches input into those wins. When the team have an off day or the result doesn't go it's 'McRae out!'
He simply can't win either way.
I realise it's difficult not to get emotional around our beloved Club. But we, as fans, seem to be putting the final nail into the coffin of our Club instead of being the backbone that supports it. It really doesn't matter who is in charge, who is in the team or who owns the Club we would still be where we are at the moment. Until we move to Barton our fortunes will always be the same. They don't call us long-suffering fans for nothing. This is the life we chose. We are not fair-weather fans who suddenly appear when fortunes take an upturn. We are Salford fans who love our Club.

My main beef is the Coaching of the team not his appearance or his eloquence.
Against Crusaders 5 tries from the bomb on the left wing yet I was staggered that knowing how Noble used this tactic for the 8 foot 6 Richards at Wigan there was just a possibility that he would use it at The Willows against Matty Smith & McGilvray. Yet nothing was done.
Overall though its our attack which shows little or no coaching on the field. Where are the moves? Forwards stuck motionless in the line - slow dummy half service - everyone taking a pass standing still - these are basics of any side.
I just dont think there is much entertainment out there - we are VERY limited in what we do and thats probably why the wily SM is playing the way he is - damage limitation - but that wont put bums on seats - it will just drive people away.
