Did anybody else have the pleasure of five minutes in the company of the Wigan CHAV ARMY last night?

They had some real numpties following them, during the second half two appeared just in front of us, one of them about three foot high with a G Star belt on, and began to try and wind up any Bradford fans in the vicinity. Every time the stadium announcer mentioned a Bulls player they let out a muffled groan (possibly in English but can't be too sure) and made a funny hand gesture referring to something but I don't know what it meant

After five or ten minutes they realised nobody was going to rise to their bait so they disappeared back onto the Rooley Lane End terracing.

Football fans I suspect, certainly not Rugby League fans, and I feel sorry for Wigan having these low lifes following them and blighting the good name of the vast majority of Wiganners. Line them up and :SHOOT:

Didn't see that mate but I saw them scrapping amongst themselves on Manchester Road.

What? Trying to noise up opposing fans and fighting between themselves when no one takes the bait?

Brilliant following. You must be so proud.

Id rather not take anybody than have knobs like these idiots associate themselves with the club.

You actively encourage your chav following then ancientnloyal?

The fact he seems to want to defend it suggests he is one of them.

Shame really. I've always liked the Wigan fans and got on well with most of them, never seen any trouble from them. I'd hate to see a chav element creep in and give them a bad name.

Wigan Athletic fans jumping back on the Warriors bandwagon after a couple of wins do we think?

If so maybe they have just fallen off again

NOT WELCOME IN RUGBY LEAGUE

Clearly ancientnloyal has no problem with chavs sullying the name of a great club by chucking bottles at people and fighting. I wonder if he was the idiot who was left behind by one of the coaches after the driver refused to let him on!

Real Wigan fans have rightly condemned this minority of idiots on their own board.

No I don't. Unfortunately we do have a number of idiotic youths that follow the team every away game... some were (reportedly) responsible for trouble at the Warrington game where the police got involved (nothing you've read on the wigan rlfans threads). Youth + beer = stupidness. most clubs have it, Quins are the worst for it. Just a shame we can't eliminate them entirely.
