And as usual with you a Nited player is classed as average...they're doing pretty well to be 2nd in the league and having one foot in the CL quarter-finals yet again. Just imagine what would happen if we ever had any good players???

I remember a case in the press and journal in Aberdeen some time ago when a drunk English fella was abusing a copper during arrest. Because he shouted something akin to 'get off me you Scottish c***' the judge concluded the case was racial!!!

Don't understand the problem with Valencia. He's quick, strong, works his bollox off crosses the ball well. I've always liked him, I liked him as soon as I saw him for Wigan and I think he's done well this season. He's not the best winger in the league, but, he offers an outlet for United, he keeps the width well, crosses well and generally does all the right things well. I think he could score a lot more, though. I actually thought Fergie was going to try and play him in midfield like Bruce did at times for Wigan, to utilize his energy, strength and pace, but he hasn't done yet.
Valencia is supposed to be winger, but how many times has he actually gone past someone this season?

But the fact is that because PL clubs carry so much debt, bringing in rules concerning debt will effect English clubs far more than anyone else.

IMO it is up to the individual clubs to act in their own interests. If Juve get superb backing from the billionaire Agnelli family then good for them. If Real Madrid get sweetheart land deals from the Spanish government, royal patronage and special loan consideration from the banks, good for them. If Bayern get a few hundred million spent on infrastructure outside their new stadium, good for them.
If PL football is being run in an unsustainable manner then they'll eventually go under. That's their problem. But the fact that opposition clubs throughout Europe struggle to compete shouldn't mean UEFA bring in legislation to supposedly "protect clubs from themselves", which is what they're allegedly doing.

As usual with you, it's just a case of slagging off either Utd or the players. He is not a world beater but he improvement since he joined has been impressive and he is delivering on both fronts, assists and goals.

And imagine over-hyping players...City/City fans would never do that would they? Martin Phillips truly WAS going to be world class if it weren't for erm something or other, Paul Lake would have been better than Zidane, Michael Johnson would be the best player ever if it werent for him being a fat knacker, Robinho is the greatest player of all time when its sunny and warm etc etc
