I wondered if the mail were maybe right about the intention being to announce the signing last night, but as the mail 'broke' the story the announcement has been delayed..

I actually believe it could be tied up with finances, maybe players were getting shipped out to fund Clinton and it has not worked out as planned, the deal was on the table at one point for Cooke to got to Celtic Kr were happy but Cooke refused.
If that were the case the deal would have been voided (somehow!). It strikes me as strange but anyway its not my team so I am going to stop speculating ! I am sure it will all com out in the wash.

We must have made a trading profit from 2005 WHEN WE WON THE CUP, after this bit of silverware we had another cup final appearance and a Grand Final appearance, this will also help the clubs finances?

Joel Clinton has signed with English club Hull Kingston Rovers.
Clinton has had visa problems and is still in Australia, but his manager David Riolo said he expected the former Test prop to link with Hull KR next month.

Can any Sun readers confirm this?
