"Quote" But perhaps most impressive is another bumper Wildcats home crowd – 9,237 for a Saturday TV game in the cold and wet is a fine effort from one of Super League’s most progressive clubs "Gareth Walker the Mirror"

Warrington Town v Halifax this Saturday.
Weather permitting, this should be a cracker, and a 'money spinner' of course!
Really hope this game gets the nod, not played in a month but what a return of a match it promises, on and off the pitch.

In summary, HKR are made up of of a few overrated foreigners, a couple of Wigan rejects and a couple of blokes I have never heard of.
Saints by plenty, by miles even!

HKR are about as poor as it gets.
When referring to the atmosphere of the HJ...

Shame it doesn't keep the sound like the full east stand of HKR. That's atmosphere.
It's supposed to get up to 5 degrees in Durham on Saturday, and we've got an artificial pitch (the source of many woes, incidentally), but this was the latest photo of the pitch:

Clubs themselves cannot say whether a game is on or off - that decision is purely down to the match referee - or, indeed, a local referee if needed. They should've got someone down there earlier to look at it and decide. It was Grays' fault.
As for the weather... It'll be like starting a new season by the time we next play. I reckon our game against Bradford PA on Saturday will be called off tomorrow.

Think the UniBond can get a lot of credit for finally showing some common sense and allowing games to be postponed on the Friday (without an inspection by a referee, I might add, as long as the visiting club agrees to it). Looking at Hurst Cross (below), I don't think our game has much chance of going ahead! Scouring the fixtures for back-up plans which will all inevitably be called off by half 12 on Saturday.

Do you know if Durham University rugby league play on this pitch?
We're scheduled to play them next Wednesday on an artificial pitch!
