2. Please explain (for the non-accountants amongst us, those capable of communicating to our peers without sending them to sleep) how I have paid £60 more? The Pass price shot up an alarming £42, which is off-set in the CR membership money, but that's it. Given the price increase is the 1st in 3 years I can stomach that. Besides, surely (in accountacy terms) putting prices up is merely "sweating the assets"?
2009 season ticket: £179
2010 season ticket: £179 +£60 Club Rovers membership
or £221
Hence cash outlay year on year, ie the amount you paid Rovers, was either £60 more or £42 more.
1) stupid Club Rovers rip-off
2) celtic/wrexham/crusaders crusaders debacle
3) GB/England RL mickey poor
4) Offiah touting Eastmond to union
5) childish Hull/Rovers bitching
6) 5 drives and a kick
RL in general not knowing it's booty from it's elbow.....time to move on and find a new pastime which doesn't make me feel like i'm flogging a dead horse and sticking pins in my eyes !!!
and by the way ...ON THREAD.. i do not like the new shirts.. the home one is NOT a Rovers shirt and the away shirt is ridiculous

Internet buying is the key to the points , chelsea football club and others have introduced the scheme .
If you have 5000 members paying 60 quid don't you think it's good business ?
I have managed to pay the same price for tickets as 2008 , I've got guaranteed half price tickets for the derby so don't get ripped off having to pay in the west stand and I'm earning points by spending monies over the internet, got ten pound knocked off the shirt .
Your jealous because your dull directors didn't introduce this system first , next year maybe.

I know. Doesn't stop some of your chums presenting them at the till though.

So all 5,000 members have paid £60? None of them are children or concessions?

What nonsense. Look at the cash you've given Rovers this year vs last year. If you're in the standing area, last season you paid them £179, this season you paid £239. I agree the points system is fantastic though. As said already, spend £9,000 online at Next and you get enough points for a shirt.

So you're one of the lucky ones who MAY actually benefit (by a VERY small amount) after an extended length of time!! But, what about the members that aren't in the first 2500?? What do they get? A book?? Doesn't sound so attractive does it??

No, you get the promise of a book, not an actual book, just a promise.
If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle.
