just got back from the game and thinking were still along way to beat the aussie and new zealand.first half might off just been an off half for us but who knows what england can do,the only thing that put a smile to my face was towards the end with myler getting hurt...sorry i just dont like the guy

I went to the game and have to complain bitterly that the seasts were so uncomfortable as it was nearly impossible to fall asleep. Let's be honest that was the most unispiring game of RL that I have ever seen.
To start with after we had signed over the 2nd mortgage for a pie and pint we then found that we were sat near enough infront of the band that insesantly belted out hackneyed (mostly faggotball inspired ditties) tunes to inspire the crowd (the effect it actually had was to inspire to want to insert trombones sideways up the rectal passage).
Then the game kicked off and it was pointed out to me that that England coach is also the coach at Warrington which had passed me by as I was engrossed in the medeocrity of the Warrington bound Myler, sure he got 2 poachers tries but anyone telling me he is better in that position than Tomkins surely must have forked out for a 3rd mortgage last night and still be the worse for wear of the hooch.

Despite the efforts of the Doncaster Philharmonic there never seemed to be an atmosphere and infact the best bit of entertainment for us turned out to be looking and laughing at the brick outhouse at the bottom on the stand with the albino rat on his head and his drunken attempts at danceing.

The RFL need to realise that it has to be a 3 nations, GB, Australia & NZ are were the passion lies both here and down under. Let the French, Paddies, Jocks, Welsh and emerging England play in the 2nd string comp to give them experience and hopefully allow them to progress to a point in the Welsh and French case that they can look at competeing with the big boys.

Lacklustre isn't quite forceful enough. I found myself particularly uninspired at what should be, in all fairness, some interest in an England side made up of the 'next generation'. I found myself being turned-off at the Warrington bias of some selections and the feeling of watching a side of individuals still springs to mind instead of a great team.

do the Rugby League have copies of the Aussie and Kiwi national anthems or will there be another embarrasing silence before the singer uses there own initiative. I was watching over the top of the laptop the game had moments but these were do to the Catalans trying basket ball rugby. Not a classic but perhaps the missing anthem was due to the whether they should play the French or the Catalonian anthems?
