Shaun Briscoe (Hull Kingston Rovers) Ryan Hall (Leeds) Michael Shenton (Castleford) Kyle Eastmond (St Helens) Lee Smith (Leeds) Sam Tomkins (Wigan) Richard Myler (Salford) Jamie Peacock (Leeds, captain) Scott Moore (Huddersfield) Adrian Morley (Warrington) Sam Burgess (Bradford) Gareth Ellis (Wests Tigers) Kevin Sinfield (Leeds)
Garreth Carvell (Warrington) James Graham (St Helens) Sean O'Loughlin (Wigan) James Roby (St Helens)
Young, fresh and pacey back-line with a experienced and brutal pack and forward line!
I think that is probably our strongest team.
Sadly, it is nowhere near the level of the Australian/NZ team. We will tonk France and then have the usual "We will win the competition" or "We should seriously challenge Australia" before being tonked by Australia and then NZ.
It's quite sad that some of those players (in the full 24squad) are the best we can come up with to play for England.

Reading reports on NZ and Aussie and it looks like the Kiwis have alot of players missing or who have been "stood down" but your probably right whoever they field will just run over the top of us as usual All Blacks sides do.
As for the Aussie I know Folau is missing but has been replaced with Jennings from what I've seen is well pretty darn good, his 110 metre try Vs Sydney City Roosters comes to mind

Have not put my team up as thought it was pointless till Smith named his squad.
I'd go with
1. Shaun Briscoe
2. Lee Smith
3. Chris Bridge
4. Michael Shenton
5. Peter Fox
6. Kyle Eastmond
7. Danny McGuire
8. Adrian Morley
9. James Roby
10. Sam Burgess
11. Jamie Peacock
12. Gareth Ellis
13. Kevin Sinfield
14. James Graham
15. Eorl Crabtree
16. Sean O’Loughlin
17. Scott Moore

Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good - sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league - Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate - the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever - Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go - Saint94..Every team is in your feckin shadow, we all know - FIOS

Australia could put out a second string side and still tonk us, NZ maybe won't beat us by as many but at least 16-30 points IMO.
I feel embarassed for France TBH, a smacking by us, Aus and NZ on home turf is going to do the best part of f*ck all for their fanbase IMO.

Pryce doesn't deserve a place in the squad on this season's performances.
LMS has been poor for at least half the season. Bridge has played well and is a name that quite a few Warington fans were suggesting.
