Looks like I was wrong about the good doctor. He beaned Ortiz last night as payback for Lind. It wasn't a fastball and fair play to Papi for taking it so well. He was pretty much the only target with everyone else being rested (i.e. Hung Over) after a late night of celebrations.
If only the season lasted 2 weeks, we'd be killing it!
We're murdering the long ball right now, another 4 last night, 13 at Fenway over the 3 game series and and a total of 46 for the month of September (a new franchise record). It's been fun to watch - which I suppose is some consolation for some of the garbage we've had to put up with.
