You obviously dont understand the concept of the competition, you have to be in it to have a chance of been the winner and there can only be one winner.
To end up fourth in the league at the end of the season shows a level of consistency throughout the whole of the season something Hull could not achieve in the last three seasons, and although you have signed one or two players for next year i fear it will be the same for you again, due to the fact it will take time for your new players to gell, where as Rovers will have a fairly settled squad next year with just one or two additions in crucial positions.
I believe we will be a much stronger and better next season just as we have been year on year since promotion to the super league.
As for your comment regarding been daft enough to listen to drivel, you must have selective hearing when listening to Mr Tool, he's been stringing you lot along for the last three years and you still hang on his every word in vain hope that he will deliver,so!!,who's the bigger fools.

Once I managed to understand your poor use of English (e.g. been instead of being??) I felt I was required to let you know that most fans don't hang on the words of Mr Tool. Do you not read our forum? Do you not listen to Humberside? I know that the reason Briscoe would never come back to FC is because of Mr Tool.

Let's have an honest look at what has been said on here by the hull fans over the last couple of days.

The main crux of their 'problem' with Morgan is that he seems to have had the audacity as the coach of our squad to have stated we could win the competition at the begining of the year. Now forgive me if I'm wrong but I would expect the coach of any club to have the same thoughts. Isn't that the job of any club to do just that.

What would the fc fans have said had jm said 'no not a chance of winning anything next year' there would have been a barrage of abuse aimed at an unambitious coach.

If their coach gave an honest appraisal of their chances and said he believed it'll be 5 years til they have a realistic chance of winning anything. Due to Time to gel, then having to rebuild almost immediately as his biggest signings have a year left in them at most.

The fact that some many of them have spent the year clutching onto any slip we have had is testament to how far jm has brought us and to how they even thought we may get to OT.

Honest views for next year, a top 6 finish, a good cup run and win a play off game would be a good year. But if jm said anything other than we can win the CC and the GF then I'd be disappointed.
