not knocking Vella as captain, just think Newton rallies the troops more, like when Chev was being treated and when we was walking off the pitch at half time last night. Vella isn't a vocal captain imo, just leads by example.

Thought Vella looked out of sorts last night and Galea definately wasnt fit. Newton was your stand out forward for me.

Surely Cooke has to be captain, after all he knows how to shout at all the other players

Anyone notice after Cookie gave Murrell a spray, that Newton came over and was pointing the figure at Cookie. Should be an interesting mad Monday!

Mick Vella while having a great career, looked pretty average last night. He's the kind of prop who needs a really decent partner to lead the way - at KR he's never really had that.
