As for being a cynic,no,just a realist. Look at the CC.Now its widely recognised that Huddersfield froze on the day (cant argue with that)We put up 2 massive performances in 1 off games,to get to Wembley (cant argue with that).but would'nt the same players have performed just aswell under Cullen given the same circumstances? They'd done it before in 1 off games under him.
now,you can either wake up and get out of fantasyland or carry on putting your head in the ground.
I await your reply with baited breath.
Huddersfield froze on the day? We stiffled their attack with aggressive defence and attacked them outwide showing them that they can't play their usual compressed defence? As for 2 massive performances in one off games? We beat a very good HKR away from home and if you can't see that our style of play and performances ahve improved significantly under Che then you may need to be alooking at a name change...maybe Loose wired.

I'm not RugbyChick - obviously -but she is spot on, your post is rubbish. we are talking about missing the playoffs and you bring up a mis-spelt Tshirt....!!
when the dust settles on the season only Leeds will have another Trophy Hull KR fans will be happy because they finished in the top 4, huddersfield will be happy with also finishing in the top 4 and getting a day out a wembley.
the rest will have nothing...
you are a sad person ...i'm still giddy about the Wembly Win I love it wearing my Wembley winners T-shirt I love having a brew out of my Wembley winners cup I watched the Highlights again on the bbc i player for no apparent reason yesterday....

As for saints "throwing" the game, utter bilge.Whats the point of flogging yourself, when the play-offs start next week and your finishing position is not going to improve, irrespective of the result. Its called resting certain players, something we should know enough about.
Now we get to the real reason as to why we are not in the play-offs.now look away if you are sensitive, but WE ARE JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH.Since 2000,are finishing positions have been; 6,7,10,6,8,4,6,7,6 and 10th or 11th.this season has been shocking( thank god the CC has glossed over this)But any team that concedes on average 30pts/game deserves everything it gets.
DO YOU THINK IT WILL BE ANY DIFFERENT NEXT SEASON?
History is taught in schools,so future generations will not make the same mistakes as our predecessors. Its the same in life.Would you put your hands in a fire, knowing that the last time you did so,it caused pain? No,of course you would'nt.So why do people think, that next years Warrington is going to be any different to this and previous?history tells you,it wont and it wont because of what goes on behind the scenes.we have the incompetants in the souvenir shop,we have a publicity team that puts up a sign out side the ground telling those who already know, who we play next.We employ dyslexic printers (huddesfield shirts),we have a non-existant defensive coach and a board thats so myopic, that it thinks throwing money around,is the way to win trophies
Looking at previous years, the best we can hope for next season,is 7th and hopefully a good cup run.So as I've asked before,HAVE WE REALLY IMPROVED UNDER GRINNER SMITH AS WE WOULD HAVE DONE UNDER CULLEN?
Still there is always next season,or will we just blame St Helens again for all our problems???
Why do you never put a space after a punctuation mark such as a comma, full-stop or question mark?

Really? Name them and what did we gain from winning these "one off" games with Cullen?

To be honest I wasn't going to give you the satisfaction of replying to your drivel but I feel I can't ignore it.
To start with you state that the reason we have not made the play-off's this year was because we are "just not good enough". Rubissh. And just to make sure you don't misunderstand me: that is complete rubbish. Maybe we weren't good enough in the first part of the season, under Lowes, when we were suffering from an overall lack of confidence and lost the starting run to our season. Since Smith has took over there has been a marked improvement in individual players, team spirit and performance. Players look happy to be at the club and confident on the field. If we had won even half the games we lost at the start of the season we would be quite happily in the play-offs.
Now to talk about putting your hands in the fire and comparing it to Warrington is just plain silly. It's not even a sensible analogy as the two don't compare at all. Yes if you put your hands in fire it will hurt every time. You simply can't compare that to sports team performace. Wigan used to be really good. Does that mean that because historically they were a good team, they should always be? How does your theory about only sucessful teams can be sucessful fit with Catalans? They finished bottom one season and went on to finish second in the next and are in the play-offs this year too. That to start with disproves your ridiculous theory. Then there's Saints and Leeds, two more teams who have become sucessful since the SL era. Your argument that because "historically" we've only finished mid-table then in the future that's all we'll do is so beyond ridiculous that I don't have a strong enough word for it.
How do we have a "non-exsistent defensive coach"?
For you to claim that the efficiency of the club shop has anything to do with the sucess of the team on the field is beyond moronic. How does a correctly spelt t-shirt have any effect on the team's performance? And while we're on that subject: I think you've got a damn cheek to criticise the club shop. They work bloody hard, and in Wembley's case: at short notice, to make sure fans have what they want. Nobody could have predicted how huge demand for Wembley tickets and merchandise would be and the club shop were in a situation they couldn't win. If they bought in a ton of stock and only 12'000 fans showed any interest they're left with surplus stock they're losing money on. Not exactly recession-friendly. Yet if they are cautious and buy it in as demand stipulates then they're criticised by idiots like you for being imcompetent. Yes there were spelling mistakes on some of the merchandise, it's hardly the end of the world is it? I'm sure everybody involved in it worked damn hard to get the products out so people actually had things to buy. You should be applauding them.
I imagine the advertising team could probably do a little more in terms of advertising the week-to-week games but if you're so full of amazing ideas why don't you email someone at the club instead of moaning on here?
Please explain to me how "throwing money round" won't win us trophies? Simon Moran has already proved that "throwing money around" obvious does win us trophies - we've got one in the cupboard. I'm sure you weren't complaining about him when he was "throwing money around" on free coaches to the Bradford playoff for all the fans. Or were you sat at home watching because "historically" we wouldn't win?
