He hasn't won one this year yet so that would be one of them...

You're not being facetious are you?

Both Semi's are too tough to call for me...

The most important one though - Saints are a bit hot and cold, Giants are extremely solid and still shooting a little under the Hemmings/Stephenson Radar

Our much higher big game experience will count for a lot Cunningham, Wellens, Pryce, Gilmour have played in dozens of huge games before even the younger list Graham, Roby, Wilkin, Gardner have played in 4 or 5 CC Semi Finals together. But as long as Coach Brown keeps the Giants feet on the ground i can see it being a modern classic.

Hudds is the one forward pack i don't see us being able to get on top of like we can the others and our distinct lack of pace in the backs maybe exposed, i still expect Saints to win but i'm by no means confident - it certainly won't be as one sided as 2004

One thing, if our run does have to come to an end this year then i'm infinitely happier we are playing the Giants than either of the others and will happily support you all the way!

The lads at work are not off to the semi but are off round Huddersfield to watch the match.

Just called Varsity, Warehouse and the usual “larger” establishments only to be told they are showing the Man Utd v Chelsea charity shield football match. I think its disgusting that the biggest game of the season is not being promoted in the town centre watering holes! I mean we’re in Huddersfield not Manchester! Who gives two hoots about those Manchester scumbags or southern monkeys (sorry cockney! ) anyway in an annual friendly?

Does anyone know a pub with a large screen that is showing the match on Sunday? Somewhere fairly largish that does food.

Sing a song of Yorkshire, from the Humber to the Tees
Of cricket, rugby, beer, of pudding and of cheese
I know no other county where the land is quite so fine
England's lovely county. And I'm proud to call it mine

Where shining purple heather stretches far across the moor
And the lapwing's cry above me takes the place of traffic roar
And peace comes drifting gently, there's no place I'd rather be
Than this land of hills and valleys, from the Pennines to the sea

So when I've done my roaming, and when my step grows slow
When heart and mind assure me that the time has come to go
Then let me rest in Yorkshire, for its there I want to lie
'Neath sun and wind and heather... and a gleaming Yorkshire sky

Whats everyones plans for the day then?

I know a few are meeting at weatherspoons (huddersfield) at 9:00am and getting the train to Warrington at 9:28am.

Straight into weatherspoons (warrington) for breakfast before going on to a few other pubs and finally onto the game.

I've also heard a few are off in fancy dress!
