why for the life of me are the board at salford ,not offering big phil new terms , not only has he been a stand out player when he comes on , he always gives 110% effort , so come on the board surely he is worth another 2 year deal

keep the faith

can see what your saying Smithy but he is quite old by Super League standards and even he is admitting it.

I think he's the most over-rated player on the books

he is only 31 , which to me does not seem that old , as we are releasing stapo as well seem we might be a little thin on the props next season

keep the faith

I just dont think that he is up to this standard. He would do a good job next year for a NL1 team though.

I like Big Phil he does give the effort every game which some other players on occasion don't. Last Friday when we played saints I thought he looked a bit out of place, I just assumed that it was because the rest of the team really pulled their socks up and got in there, as a result he looked knackered and he didn't get as many metres as usual. I would like him to stay at Salford but in a developmental role such as coach kids. I said this on a previous thread but I would love there to be a kids rugby camp and I think Phil would be great doing that. I think his days as a player are numbered and I for one am glad I got to see him play in the red for us with a bit of pride.

Thought Big Phil was one of our best players in the first few games. Ok, so he's not been as good recently but certainly wouldn't say he's been poor. IMO he's our most potent strike player off the bench, he certainly has more of an impact than Jewitt. I think he's well worth another year.

 Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

We already have too many players who always give more than 100% what we need is some new blood with the skill to go along with giving 100%

Good servant but not seen him break through defensive lines much this season, good look to big Phil next season but hopefully not with us.
