I stopped the standing order in April, because to be honest I had absolutely no idea where the money was going to and what it was being used for. There appeared to be no accountability, and frankly I am not comfortable with that.

A bit of information in say the match programs, this website or the club website would have done very nicely. But nothing.

I will gladly chuck in to any new supporters trust, but to be honest it would need to be a bit more 'visible' than DISC.

Glad I was nt the only one who got a little fed up with hearing nothing, although I only put £20 a month in.

Like already s been mentioned, all those that join a Supporters Trust should get a monthly or 2 monthly newsletter (only needs to be a piece of A4, e-mail or posted) giving numbers of new members joined, if possible where the money is going, dates of meetings, promotion of future money raising events and asking for ideas on other ways to raise money.

I feel with a little effort we could win back a lot of goodwill for the club and give it a good future again by harnessing everybody's skills, connections and enthusiasm that is on display just on this website never mind those who do not have access and have become disheartened over recent years.

Personally I believe that if we do have these business men waiting in the wings, let them sponsor the club and if they would like to provide input into the club. I believe a board of a Supporters Trust can co-opt a number of individuals onto a board (I think), or they can stand for election.

At least I feel the club would have a more secure future this way.

This 'no accountability' seems to be a theme of the previous trusts.
Come to think of it that also seems to run right through the club especially this lastfew months.
I agree that if there are any business groups/consortium out there they should only be co-opted onto the Supporters Trust board and so preventing any possibility of another 'failed' attempt at owning the club.
The Dons can't afford any more shambolic management.
The fans and the RFL's patience will not accept it.
I pray the Trust gets off the ground and i then pray that this club can then be run with the clubs interests at heart-not by individuals with either ridiculous and over the top ambitions, their own egos or self interest.
