1 B Going Concern The company has received loans from its parent company, The Wilkinson Corporation Limited, other subsidiaries of The Wilkinson Corporation Limited and pension schemes whose beneficiaries are some of the directors of the company. Without these loans, the company would be unable to meet its working capital requirements. Some of these loans are repayable on demand. However the directors of The Wilkinson Corporation Limited have given assurance that they will not require repayment unless other sources of funding become available.
If you want to see for yourself - go to the Companies House website - it costs £1 to download the published accounts.
I suggest that people read that paragraph again and have a good think (if that's possible for some) about it before shouting off. If you want a lay person's translation, it basically says "if it wasn't for the directors putting their hands in their pockets the club would be fooked"

Just thought I should put club gate income into perspective for you
6 Salford Home Games 2009
Low 3367
High 7016
Total 29107
Av 4851
So 29107 at say £10+ per head average = say £350k
Look at the staff at The Willows before even coming to the Playing Squad. The Directors must have pumped hundreds of thousands in this Season to keep things going for you and me.
In their position would you not feel a sale of Myler to be prudent?

I can't believe anyone is still trying to reason with you after you made the above comment which is, without doubt, the most stupid, ill-informed ridiculous post that I have ever seen on our message board.
Anything that you have said previously, or will say in the future, will now be absolutely meaningless because you have proved that you are, in every sense of the word, an idiot.

Love him or hate him, 163 consecutive appearances should make Stuart Littler a Salford legend in anyone's book

from reading some posts on this thread we have some very very very narrow minded people on this board, even with the account figures sat in front of them they still feel we have got the money to be 'pumping' cash into the club
its clear to most normal people on here that the directors do 'pump' money into the club year on year, clearly at a loss to them. they do this through dedication, loyalty and passion to an oraganisation with a lot of history and an organisation that they all clearly hold close to there hearts
its easy to say why dont we just spend x amount to keep players X and Y at the club, surely you are old and wise enough to know that when something is not there you just cannot spend it!!!
if i remember rightly didnt the widnes fans forum pay a players wages for a year or something similar? it would be great to think that we could get every single season ticket holder or even just random people of salford to all join forever reds so we could do a similar thing
or lets all join in to a syndicate and put the euro millions on and put the winnings into the club

I have edited this post, before I reply to it, so as to save the majority of true Salford Fans from having to read such absolute nonsense.
So, here goes............
I don't know how old you are, but I suspect that most of us have a bloody good idea. Have you stopped for just one minute to think that all that the current chairman has done for this club, may, just possibly have been purely for the reason that he is totally committed to our club, just as much as you and I
It's absolutely nailed on that he has NOT made a single farthing of profit over the last 25 years.
So quite how, some total arseh0le like you and the other idiot, Jaymc9, can come on this forum and talk such boll0cks, is completely baffling to the rest of us.
So, do all true Salford Fans a favour, and FOOK OFF
