Matt Orford really wants to stay at Manly even willing to take a $100,000 wage cut to remain with them, so looks like he's to stay where he is, be interesting to see who we turn are attention to now, Finch perhaps?

We should have sorted out a swap with him and Barrett last year when Trent went back. Kimmorley here on a 3 year contract instead of Smith would have been ideal.

Finch is left possibly, or Myler (though I think he will go to Wire).
I think we need to accept its unlikely that IL has delivered and next year will be Sam/Tommy & Riddell/McIllorum even with a prop, that aint good enough at all.

Just like I said earlier in thread as time goes by although nothings been confirmed, are options are slowly decreasing, and soon we'll be left with scraping the bottom of the barrel once again.
Wigan vs Leeds finals aggregate score.
Wigan 178 - 64 Leeds
Wigan wins - 6 Leeds wins - 0
I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass, and I am all out of bubblegum.
Don't you struggle. Don't you fight. Don't you worry, cause it's your turn tonight!
As i commented in the last signing topic, I don't think we'll sign a halfback.
Two props are the priority and with the costs forever growing within sports of today and the current climate, I don't think IL will pay out for two props and a SH.
Next year
6 - S. Tomkins
7 - Tommy
8 - New prop
9 - Riddell
10 - New prop
Bench
Macca - which I'd prefer him to have a loan spell, somewhere
Feka
Fielden
Tommy still as the number 7 within, but he looks off his game as, I think he's unsure what position he'd like to play, he needs to be told, you are the Wigan 7 or new Wigan 9!

We have absolutely NO idea who is really available and not available. Stop jumping to conclusions, for all we know we could have signed players already.
With the precarious coaching situation we have at the moment, I feel it would not be prudent to announce any players for two reasons
1. If we announce players now it could be seen to be Nobles signings when in fact they have been brought in on the advice of the possible new coach, thus not giving a true reflection of who has decided on the player. Especially if we decide to stick with noble, he will have players recommended by another coach. Not a major problem I know but not an ideal one.
2. If a player brought in now has been linked with any future coach we bring in, this will undermine Noble and for the moment he is still in charge, again not an ideal situation.
I feel that if we were to announce signings with Nobles future undecided it just leaves to many ambiguities.
Finally if we do not sign any good players then we have the right to slate IL, if only for the reason that he has purposely mid led us fans by touting the likes of Mason, Thurston etc in the press.
What's the rumpus, Tom?

We need a new half, Tommy at 7 next year would be a cop out, he just lacks the vision to be a good scrum half. he has fantastic technique granted but he doe not have the vision
