The Rams gave the Raiders a fright, taking the lead for the first time when Patrick Walker added the goal to Austin Buchanans second try on 74 mins after Barrow had led 16-6 with 10 minutes to go.
The Championship front-runners blushes were spared by a Liam Harrison try 2 minutes from the hooter. New signing Andreas Bauer was amongst Barrow's first half tryscorers.

Widnes ran out comfortable winners eventually after the City Knights had been 18-16 in front at the 50-minute mark. Former Don Sean Hesketh made his York debut after signing this week from Featherstone.
