im not one for booing, like others have said it achieves very little in my eyes, fair enough dont clap them off at the end of a game if you are disappointed with them but boo?

as for clapping the opposition, thats what rugby league is about, respect and sportsmanship, always been there way as long as i can remember,i will always applaud a touchline kick or a good try by the opposition..hell they even used to do it in football

Durham Giant wrote:have the fans learnt nothing from last season when Thorman got booed after dropping a bomb against wakefield i think then everyone booed him.

You could see the confidence drain out of him and he lost it for the rest of the season.

will it make the team play better :?: , will it help players confidence :?: , does it create a good atmosphere :?: , does it present the club or supporters in a good light :?:

will nathan Brown think they dont rate Brown at standoff, i will drop him next week and put our substitute stand off back in or i will go out and buy Lockyer :?: .

i would rather 200 fans there supporting the team than 6000 with half of them booing.

thats why i enjoy away games and hate home games.

If paying your money means you think you have the right to boo then i suggest you save your money or go watch saints.

At least wait until the end of the season to make a point because otherwise booing SERVES NO PURPOSE WHATSOEVER NOW OTHER THAN UNDERMINING THE TEAM AND THE CLUB
.

Totally agree.

This destroyed Chris Thorman - I wasn't a fan of his but never booed him.

Just 'cos you've paid your money gives you no right whatsoever to boo anyone. It just shows you're ignorant -period.

I'd like to see Kevin Brown stood next to someone at their work who booed him. Every time that person made a mistake Kevin could then boo him / her. I'd love to be a fly on the wall to see their reaction.

Don't think anyone booed Brown TBH, although the irnoic cheers when he made touch after his first effort that went so wrong were a tad harsh!

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.
