If he had Gene Miles as his centre then just maybe.... 2 tries a game would be possible with a centre of that quality as his partner in today's Mediocre League.... what are the chances of us signing someone as good as big Gene... oh dear....

A realistic target is 36 which is held by Vainikolo for the most tries in a regular super league season but the problem is he isnt going to get selected for every game so its a bit of a non starter....maybe in future seasons....

We'll have to go some and really start battering some teams, but I don't think we're good enough for that by a long chalk. 25+ might be realistic, but 50 I just can't see.

Not taking into account a claim that he could get 50 i think we can all assume he's well on his way to getting 25-30 trys for the season and his his debut year that is truely fantastic.
That's who I was thinking, but I don't know for sure. It would be some achievement if Ainscough could go over 20 in his first season without even being selected for every game!
