Some real headshake comments on here. After all the stick folk gave to the Wigan fan who said he wouldn't take a single Giant over there team someone says exactly the same! Warrington have some good players, a good coach (despite the World Cup debacle) and are a very good Rugby League club. Let's show some respect and not get all billy big time. Looking forward to a really good game on Sunday.

westwood is also a danger player for wire.
hope the giants can win and carry on our amazing away winning run!
Always been an enormous myth for me that. IMO, when our pack win the arm wrestle in the middle of the field, then Briers gets room and territory to do his stuff. However, if we are coughing up cheap posession, giving away penalties and playing at the wrong end of the field then he doesn't have the chance to shine. So in other words, you have to stop our pack first and if you don't, hope that Briers has an off day.

What's wrong with a good ol' fashioned lynching?

Rugby League is about confidence and application as much as talent and skill and when you start thinking these sides are easy beats then these kind of posts come back to haunt you.
It's early days to be full of ourselves. The Leeds game showed us that.
We're a good side for sure but we're not good enough to go in half a4sed against anyone and expect an easy win. This is Huddersfield RLFC we're talking about here.

There are just as many ludicrous comments from Wire fans on this thread as there are from Huddersfield. Add in the same usual tripe thrown in about our boring brand of rugby on your site etc. Some of you guys need to get with the times because we've played some fantastic rugby this season and scored some really excellent tries. It's pretty pathetic just how dim some RL fans are, it really is. They're soccer stupid, maybe even worse.

spot on fella !
TBH as a Huddersfield fan i'm used to it - we could be runaway leaders and playing the best rugby ever seen but we will still get called by some people who just see what other's say and write and believe it as gospel !
It is absolutely laughable some of the total sh*t that gets posted. It's laughable how sour some of the coaches are. It's just laughable, full stop.
Win or lose this weekend it doesn't matter. This club is a club on the up with a developing team playing an expansive brand of rugby with a mean defence and with crowds that are rising significantly home and away whilst those of several others dwindle. And what happens? The same old sh*te gets spouted!
I can't help it if one or two of our guys get a bit ahead of themselves but why shouldn't they. Plenty of otrher speccies of other clubs have absolutely no problem doing that and no one seems too fussed about that. And besides, this is our spot to post and if a Huddersfield fan wants to get a bit ahead of themselves on their own site then why the hell shoudn't they?
To date this season our results are good, our away crowd figures have been well up and our home crowds average 9,231 after having got Quins and Celtic out of the way. I think that so far there is plenty to be optimistic about so the opposition are going to have to forgive a bit of overoptimism from time to time. Besides, we're not at Hull KR blind insane optimism levels...
