One took great pleasure in telling me that we were lucky and how an 18 yr old had scored 3 tries past us, I just reminded him that next season when he's gone, they'll do nothing. and he soon shuttup
True the majority are okay but there is a large proprtion up at 'Haven that are a bit 'insular' lets say, maybe because of the remoteness and lack of travelling fans in numbers but from my experiences up there they are not the nicest fans in the land.
Put it this way don't ever stand on that side terrace it aint a good experience, I did once but won't ever again!

I think Lawford has been treated shockingly by some Fax fans. The contribution he made to our 2005 season when we were a poor ref decision short of a grand final was unheralded.
He was the perfect partner for Ben Black at half-back. Lawford took care of all the organisational duties, setting the moves for the outside backs and great in field kicking. So what if he hardly took on the line, that was what Black was there for, what he did best.

Seems some Fax fans can't get over appearances.
disagree with you Haighy. people on here only complained about how he played & his performance or lack of it. No one attacked him as a "person". He was too slow, overweight therefore wasnt mobile enough, his only contribution was the inside ball to Larder or a kick to the wingers.
People go on about Briers or Holy not being able to tackle, but Lawford was/is worse. His only contribution was to turn up 3rd man & try add his weight to a tackle.
