Phelps looks like he might have a kicking game and hes the closest thing to a 6 weve got. Piggy for me needs a kick up the ar$e, he wants to frig about in training all day then let him.

Happy to see people putting Smith in. IMO we should go with Sam and Smith in the halves with Tommy playing off the bench going to hooker. Don't know whats happened with Mick but he isn't developing at all and we need Tommy in at dummy-half! Plus Smith really isn't that bad but he needs more protection! With Gleeson at centre we look strong defensively down the right compared with Goulding.
Obviously drop Fielden and Pryce, would put anyone on our books ahead of these 2. If Carmont is injured is Goulding still an option?

Joel Tomkins/Phil Bailey (Which ever one of them is fit)
Sam Tomkins is a scrum half and not a stand off and I think we will see the best of him at scrum half.
Leuluai is a hooker and not a scrum half and Michael McIlorum is not offering us anything/enough going forward. Riddell although he has not been good enough he offers more than McIlorum.
Cameron Phelps is a six and not a fullback and will be far more effective IMO at stand off. A risk in some people's eyes but against Celtic, it is a risk I would be willing to take to try and turn this season around.
Why have I not dropped Fielden? Simple who do we have who can replace him without playing someone out of position?
