the hits those guys take are awesome, but they hang onto the football....thats part of the skill.
dropping the ball in either NFL or league is unnaceptable imo.

Interesting idea, but my priority would be a new fitness coach. We simply aren't fit enough.

It would also be helpful if they practised some moves during training....

There was just no structure at all, in defence and attack. The players looked like they didn't know what to do, chuck it to the nearest teammate and hope for the best. It was painful to watch. I was gutted I couldn't go to France this year but I feel sorry for those who shelled out their hard-earned cash to watch that garbage.

You cannot coach stupid passes and rushed offloads, but the question is, why are we playing like that in the first place? Why did our defence hang back and let the Catalans forwards steamroller us at pace? Why don't we have set moves, like the Bosc kick for Greenshields? Why is our play-the-ball so painfully slow?

Poorly coached and out-enthused again. If BN has any self-respect he'd hand in his cards tonight.

Abysmal peformance.

I agree with that. Ive been a staunt defender of Noble, I really want the guy to take us back to the top, but I really dont see it ever happening.

That being said, if IL thinks any coach will be successful with the back and halfbacks we have currently, he is sadly wrong.

an american football is smaller and pointier so it's easier to wedge against the inside of your elbow. I'm afraid it wouldn't work in league. Who we could use is their strength conditioners to build a more powerful pack!

The players are playing badly and i really don't think he has the skills to shake them up and build some confidence back either. After the Saints game and the effort the players seemed to have put in I’m frankly disgusted with the drop after just four days and Noble has to take the blame.

Anyone who has played sport knows when your playing in a team low on confidence you own game starts to suffer and things you normally find routine even basics like catching and passing don’t come as easy as what they do when you’re tails are up.

Vince Lombardi would struggle with this shower no doubt. There is something not quite right with the playing squad, exemplified by players often not bothering to turn up to club events and training camps.

The performance of our front row tonight was nothing short of a disgrace, but credit to Catalan, they did what is needed to beat Wigan and that is see out your sets and have a decent kick game...

Fielden had a shocker and to me looks like he's lost a lot of the bulk that made him a quality player. Feka is carrying too much bulk and again not enough muscle mass for me, he looked a different player from the pictures of him scoring in his first game for us. Coley was ok, but wouldn't make most teams in SL... actually it's hard to find any positives from that...

Noble, players, administration... dunno the root cause, but there's a lot of work ahead if they have a shred of professional pride and actually want to acheive anything... I feel sorry in many respects for Gleeson, ok he's stepped up a level, but would have probably been better served heading back to Hudds.

I have been fed up since the Wakefield game, was made up when we leathered Bradford but we didn't kick on from it!

Current thoughts - Mago out or get running up them plantations, get fit or get rid.
Maybe a back up halfback, someone with a bit of experience on a short term deal.
Big tall strong running second rower, like a McMeekin or Sironen type back rower.
