Have to say I disagree, I think the problem with Tickle and others is that the style of play we seem to use offers nothing at all and that is why we see players play poorly. What can you do when there is no support play and its just 5 drives down the middle.
I seem to recall Agar stating that he now has options to be able to spell Tickle in games rather than flogging him to death.
As I said on another thread playing the game with 5 drives and a poor kick just eats your energy as you are continually trying hard to get out you own 40 only to find you are once again defending in your own half instead of the oppositions. On Sunday we struggled to make 25-30M on our own half with the 5 drives before kicking and seeing it returned with relaive ease.
I really enjoy long walks especially when they are taken by people I don't like!

wayne bennett can be sleep inducing while brian Blessed would keep people awake. Who would you prefer at KR?

This is something that is not peculiar to this season. Apart from Jamie Thackray, you haven't seen any forward really hitting the ball since Steve Craven (unless some of our brethren with better memories care to correct me !). One of the things that kids get taught when they first start to play is to take the ball from deep. Love or hate Barry McDermott, he always looked like he was putting the required effort into the contact. All this stuff taking the ball from a four or five step run up is not effective.

However what annoys me is the players attitude , happened in john kear era , peter sharp when they first come they are up for the games and look interested however once they start to lose a few you can see there attitude and desire changes . It has happened this season first five games we were playin ok rugby but what got us through was the commitment from the players. The forwards were running with urgency and the defence was meeting the man with the ball not hanging back waiting .Now they have lost a couple you saw players slipping of tackles and hanging back . Also the fact the players dont run onto the ball just wait there is another factor . The manager has to take alot the blame but to many fans look past the players something needs to be done at the top otherwise player power will always dominate and the players should be proud of wearing the black and white shirt not just saying it !!
Quite right, we have the same squad of players that did the business earlier in the season, the only difference is the lack of commitment and that is just not acceptable!
We have had 3 coaches in 4 years and the players have shown the same attitude for each!
Its been said a thousand times before but if our players perform with passion and pride then most fans would accept the odd loss, but to slouch about like farts in a trance is just not good enough.
Richard Agar has done alot in preseason to try and address many of our weaknesses and apart from some odd substitutions and team selection lately has done wonders. I get the feeling he is an honest guy who is not set in his ways and will learn, he will also have a great chance to restructure the whole squad soon as many of our squad will be out of contract at the end of the season.

Why should we be low in confidence......Cas beating us at home was the start of the 'slump'......But did something happen during training the week before that????? Just a thought 'cos we looked like we were struggling for a loss before that. It was like watching Hull in the 80's again (we just seemed to win all the time ).
Come on lads........Just do what you were doing before the Cas game eh?
