My preference would have been Phil Bentham. We got a great record when he refs, I don't know if it's a bias thing or not with him,
I think, though I'm not sure that we have only lost on maybe 2-3 occasions when he's reffed. also thought he handled the saints -leeds game really well and is well respected by the players. IMO currently best in the league. I'm deffo not a Ganson fan, I think most 50-50s go against us when he refs.
I am also happy to have Ganson. He might penalise teams but at least you know you are not going to get a lot of laying on and slow play the balls. I suits our syle when we dont get involved in an arm wrestle. I am also pleased to have the froggy against Saints. If he allow us to slow them down round the play the ball we might stand a chance.

seem to have very few top grade refs for super league, think it 7 in total. I suppose its not like say rugby league players were if you have a bad game your repalced by someone else. What happens if we follow the aussie refs where they have 2 refs on the pitch at one time as well as 2 touch judges

We will have to find another 7 refs and I very much doubt that there are 7 good refs to be found. If there was I'm sure they would of been snapped up already.

a very good point, he also marks a very skinny 10 metres, that could also come in handy at the saints.
