Amen to Ashurst.
Leaving recent players out, McTigue at prop and Eric Ashton in the centres.
Only left William B out as winger not quite so crucial......perhaps

Preston would have given Offiah a race in his prime.

Can't see anyone at Wigan keeping up with those two. Frighten speed.

Keri Jones would have given them both a run for their money, Empire Games sprinter before turning to rugby, pity he was so injury prone.

Glynn Shaw - man monster, a character and hard as nails, and could lead a good sing song.

David Bolton - fast and elusive

Alan Davies - would really "look after" and develop Ainscough

Good shout on Glyn Shaw. When we got him and Brian Case I knew we would start succeeding.
What a comparison with the wimps who comprise most of Wigan forwards nowadays.

Andy Farrell, he just never let us down. I'd have him at prop with Fielden sitting it out on the sidelines, and just watch that team pick up with Farrell as captain!

As for the other two it's hard for me to pick as I've only been watching since 01 but I'd go with Rads at full back with Richards shifting to the wing, dropping Roberts, then Renouf in the centres instead of Bailey, he was awesome.
