He's not got a chance - long pockets and short arms you see.

Agree with Cockney Giant I'm afraid. Mason was out of order.

Mason was gulity of getting caught and a lack of subtlety. he was 3 rd man in so was out of order

HOWEVER

i would never knock a team mate for wading in to help. It shows team spirit and the opponents we will not be pushed around that is an important message to send out. we will not be intimidated.

If i have any gripes it is that someone did not flatten JON WILKIN two years ago when he took Chris Thorman out down at the Galpharm.

as far as i am concerned Mason will have to take his ban, be more careful next time and accept my congartulations and support.

well done Keith and Griff for showing pride in the shirt and sticking up for your team mates.

and no i do not accept any criticisms about bad examples and it been a family sport. what happens on the pitch stays on the pitch and is put in its context. the attitude of the Stewards at the end of the game was a far worse example on how to behave.

You've got to look after your ball players. If you allow the opposition to whack them late then your ball players will be more wary. As it is, ours know they've got some lads who will jump down the throat of anyone who oversteps the mark.

I can't condone running to join in a scrap but I certainly am not upset at the idea of our lads being tight and sticking up for each other.

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

Jacko would be a direct replacement or even Fulton (maybe even both if required)

I don't disagree about sticking up for team-mates etc. but on this occassion Grif was dealing with Hansen. Mason should have left them to it.

Griff had O'Laughlin hanging round his neck. Mason was only evening things up! Great clothesline - Eorl's uncle Shirley would have been proud!

He's taking less crap this season is Eorl. A bit more mongrel in him.
