It goes back to the game at the JJB June in 2004 when a Leeds player re-arranged Farrells nose.
Farrell came back on heavily bandaged, and who should greet him with a high tackle straight onto his nose but Diskin.
Farrell was already held in the tackle by the way when the Diskin cheap shot came in.
I hope it jogs your memory.

Remember that well. Farrell held it all together for Wigan that season. Immense, he was.

It was in response to I don't think Andy Farell would agree, and I gave an explanation.
It appears no one has defended Diskin though, or maybe he was young and exuberant
