i would have thought the jobless couldnt afford to go.
dont you think if they limited em there might be some left when you finished work??
anyway...most other folk are working as well, so it evens things up a bit.
my lads missed out by going at lunchtime after college.....and they havnt missed a game home or away (except cats) for 2 seasons.
is that fair?
had they been limited im confident there would have been tickets left at lunchtime and beyond.

Not overly happy about the 0871 number considering it was the only option because of work commitments.
If this happens again there has to be a limit on single person sales to multiple season tickets (4 tickets per person maximum is a decent limit). If people can't be arsed going for tickets or ringing for them, why should they get them over somebody that will?

Give it a rest.
YOU HAVE BEEN DRAWN AWAY. Craven Park has an 'adequate' capacity. I can't believe the arrogance of some fans. What do you suggest we do? Make sure every Wigan season ticket holder gets a FREE ticket and turn away our own PAYING fans ??
You will probably get extra tickets in due course. And you'd better sell them ALL after all this bleating !

I don't think we've experienced anything like this before so it looks like the ticket office haven't been prepared for the huge response from the fans. They could've took some tips from some of the bigger PL clubs. I know that for most Liverpool games there is a limit on how many tickets any one individual can buy, therefore stopping one person practically buying up the whole allocation. I do think 4 per person would have been a good limit, but they should really have put more staff on to cope with the demands. I'm sure they must have as-and-whens who can come it at a moments notice.
I cant beleive the hysteria over free tickets !!! Bloody hell fire
Cant remember who said that Barrow should have been forced to switch the game but what a stupid statement. The world doesn't just revolve around the SL teams in the Challenge cup !
Why not have a drive to the Lakes on Sunday and go 'Buy' a ticket from the Barrow rugby shop. They are only £15.00 for the ground. A true supporter will make the trip
LA14 1QE Scott Street Barrow in Furness if you are using a TomTom
Im pretty sure that if they don't sell out you will be able to pay on the gate on the day - only problem may be that you get to the ground and it is full. I hope those of you who want a ticket get one.

Apart from dealing with Grand Finals, Challenge Cup Finals etc, not to mention the last game at Highbury (sold out with people still in the queue at the window after queuing overnight), the Man Utd 'championship' game etc etc etc? Fact is, far too many loyal fans pay on the turnstiles at away fans so it'd be hugely unfair to give any sort of priority to those with a record of purchasing tickets for previous games. It is possible to do that, and has been used in the past for Latics games, but just not practical for as long as the majority of Super League grounds will let you pay on the gate.

You work at the ticket office don't you mate?
You heard if theres a chance of us getting anymore?
Don't know what the fuss is about! I got to JJB at bout 8:45am when the queue was quite large. I had forgotten my coat so was freezing and stood on the grass (why the people in front of me hadnt queued on th concrete is beyoned me!). I had to be in work by 9:30am at Robin Park across the road from the stadium. By 9:15 only 3 people had received their tickets so I got my mobile out, rang the stadium, pressed 3 to speak to an operator, got straight through and ordered my tickets! I'm going to pick them up on monday No problem whatsoever but the people in the ticket office are soooooo slow - they didn't even have to take money off people!!
