That was his best game ever for us tonight which goes to show it's a case of attitude with Coley.

When he wants to he's a very good player but the guy looks un-interested at times.

Agreed. I thought Coley was outstanding tonight and his performance was reminiscant of his form back on 2006. He ran with real purpose and was hard to contain.

As for the reception today I wish some fans would get over themselves with all the abuse aimed at him. He moved for more money and to a better team. I cannot name many sportsmen that would choose to perform in the Salford team rather than Wigans based on tonights encounter.

Can't help but think the hostile reception he got will have helped to get him fired up enough to turn in that kind of performance.

I think the way he went about things(and Wigan to be fair) was pretty poor though in the respect that he'd obviously agreed to sign for us before the deadline.

He had been a good servant for Salford though and had turned down Wigan in the past to stay with you guys so he does maybe warrent a bit more of a reception.

It's all banter at the end of the day though.

No it wasnt, but this happens all the time in Australia. Coley was the scapegoat for an underachieving squad in 2007 and seen as public enemy number one.
