No smoke without fire?
Well I for one think the club should quit issuing these lame statements and have a media blackout until our first win. Do your talking on the field Deacon.
If anything I'd like the club to be making more Bullish noises right now - if we're going down lets go down fighting.
IMO one win is all that is needed to turn things around. confidence will return and we can start to move on but until then all our ships must sail in the same direction. One of the players is going to have to stand up - Macca needs a hero (Nero?) to save us and put his hand up for the team. You have to look at the pivot players Deacon and Newton to bring in this change, if they are firing on all cylinders the big units should start to make inroads and we'll the performance we need.
Good to see Halley back lets hope he continues his try scoring exploits

I can't believe people are have a go over this.
Whilst I've no doubt there's an element of it being a fabricated statement, at least they're trying to communicate to the fans and let us know some of the why's and where fors, something we have all asked for!
As Adey said, they're damned if they do and damned if they don't.
I get the feeling we're not that far away and while 5% doesn't sound a lot, it's a key 5% none the less. What percentage of missed tackles are there? 10 / 200? What's that as a percentage.......erm.....5, funnily enough.
Pass completion......similar?
Once things click, confidence starts to grow, I think we'll become a difficult side to beat, I jyst hope it's soon!!

Funnily enough, there wasn't any booing, at all, in the stand as far as I could hear.
It is sad what an apoplectic reaction is produced by anything that comes out of the Bulls camp. Perhaps before the next home game the players and coaching staff should all be tied to a trellis on the pitch and publicly flogged for half an hour, so that the most implacable critics can have the blood they apparently seek.

That'd teach 'em!

There's a snippet in Private Eye from some Anglo Saxon chronicle recording that in some coinage scandal around 1157 (?) all mint men (i.e. coinage manufacturers) were required to report to Winchester, where they were parted from their right hand, and their testicles. Seems a tad harsh, but perhaps the idea for an effective performance incentive?

Hood is either a poor liar (in which case Macbanana should watch his back) or he is totally delusional (in which case God help us). Unfortunately, I think it's the latter
